Paula Elion is an Argentinean-Israeli Artist. She works in Tel Aviv and Berlin. Paula graduated from the Midrasha School of Art, Beit Berl, Israel. She mostly explores the mediums of painting and drawing. In her work, she combines these techniques, while using old books, found objects, cloth, cardboard, wood, and more. Paula's work deals with a wide range of topics that connect personal and socio-political aspects. These works are often based on pictures from social media, as well as on Paula's own family albums, exploring universal conflicts and questions. Recipient of Ministry of Culture 2019 prize for independent artists.
